D0018 Layered Puddle Dish
White glass layered with aventurine blue powder is fused as a block then broken. The pieces are turned upright and fused again into organic layered puddles. The puddles are placed within a layer of french vanilla and blue aventurine frit and fused onto a clear back. The dish was slumped into a mold, requiring a total of four firings in the kiln.
Perfect as a soap dish, jewelry/ring holder, or a candle plate, this fused glass dish measures 3-7/8” square.
It is not food safe and should not be used in an oven or microwave. Hand washing is recommended.
