D0013 Batik Glass Spoon Rest
Mint green opal glass with purple and blue batik design. Layers of glass powders are sifted onto the green glass, each layer sprayed with water. Blue frit is sprinkled on top. The design is drawn with a razor then full fused on a clear back. The flat piece is then slumped into a mold.
Perfect as a spoon rest, the dish could also be used as a jewelry/ring holder or candle plate. This fused glass dish measures 8-1/4” x 4”.
It is food safe, however not for use in an oven or microwave. Hand washing is recommended.
