D0004 Layered Puddle Dark Blue Dish
White glass layered with aventurine dark blue powder is fused as a block then broken. The pieces are turned upright and fused again into organic layered puddles. The puddles are placed within a layer of aventurine blue glass and fused onto a clear back. The dish was slumped into a mold, requiring four firings in the kiln.
Perfect as a soap dish, jewelry/ring holder, or a candle plate, this fused glass dish measures 6” square.
It is not food safe and should not be used in an oven or microwave. Hand washing is recommended.
